On Thursday the 12th of December, which also happens to be my birthday, I had the pleasure of hosting the Algarve Senior Bikers Charity lunch. 

Estoi Community Centre was founded to contribute to the cultural and social promotion of all the inhabitants of the parish, whatever their religious beliefs, by fostering solidarity and the active participation of the population, to form a cohesive community.

Music is the food of the soul, singing in our chorus called Bella Acapella deeply unites us with others, creates strange and solid bonds because it takes us on a journey where each uniqueness mixes with the others to create the harmony of major and subtle chords.

Rotary Club Estoi Palace International (RCEPI) had the honour of welcoming Paulo Taveira de Sousa, Rotary International District Governor (DG), during his recent visit. This significant occasion provided the Club with the opportunity to showcase its work within the local community and beyond.

The Saint Andrew’s Society of the Algarve held another successful Saint Andrew’s Ball at the Penina Hotel on Saturday 30 November - i.e. Saint Andrew’s Day – with a full house of over 100 guests.

November's ASB ride was well attended, with 44 riders meeting at the starting point in Paderne. 

A HUGE WHOOPI ! The Algarveans broke barriers with their latest musical extravaganza. A favourite with the public, SISTER ACT, would be ambitious for any professional drama group, but even more so for amateurs.

On November 19th, 2024, at 12:15 pm, Vitor Rosão, President of Rotary Club Estoi Palace International, (RCEPI)  together with Rui Castelo President of Rotary Club Faro and Paula Messias President of Rotary Club Coimbra Saúde inaugurated the first Peace Pole in the Algarve.
