Whilst former Dragon Duncan Bannatyne languishes in the jungle, his friend and ally Chris White, founder of Ideal Homes Portugal has been dreaming up a way to support him.
Duncan has been facing some interesting challenges including handling the rather tricky Lady C whilst competing on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. He has remarked on his Facebook page that 'Lady C is cuckoo!' but he seems to be doing a terrific job of being peacemaker in the camp.

We had a very successful Halloween party on Saturday at A Floresta Resturant in Almancil, raising an impressive €1,250 for the Abandoned Animals of Canil São Francisco in Loule.

Chris White, founder of Ideal Homes Portugal, will be making a generous donation of £3,000 in support of Operation Smile at the forthcoming Bannatyne Fundraising Ball on November 6th being held at Bannatyne Spa Hotel, Hastings.
Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity, working with a team of dedicated medical volunteers who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.
Members of Quinta do Lago Golf Club celebrated “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” by holding a “Pink” Cancer charity day on Sunday raising over €4400 for a local cancer charity.
The beneficiary was The Challenge which is a fund raising initiative set up by Robin Thomson, the local GP in Quinta do Lago and Andrea Viega, a local lawyer, with it’s aim to provide palliative care to patients and their immediate familes as they tackle cancer treatment.
Despite heavy rain, 47 kind-hearted and intrepid volunteers set out on Saturday to walk in support of Rotary International's Global Polio Eradication Initiative, a public-private partnership that also includes the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The “Not The Naked Chef”, a "half-man-half-woman" and a JCB “digger” with its driver last week presented Portimao Hospital with 26 new wheelchairs to be spread around the units of the hospital.
The donation valued at around €2,300 was the result of a Charity Bar Walk a month earlier by residents of the Algarve’s west coast community of Vale da Telha, just outside Aljezur.
