Foreigners questioned in Olhão over sexual exploitation

olhaomarketThe Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) today announced that it had identified and questioned 15 people in Olhão in an operation designed to identify those involved in the sexual exploitation of women and international people trafficing.

The stopping and questioning of foreigners took place as part of Operation Safe Summer 2014, which continues until September 15th.

GNR officers strike lucky

PT boss resigns over €900 million Rioforte blunder

ptHenrique Granadeiro today resigned from the board of Portugal Telecom, wanting to defend the "interests of shareholders," and wrote that he always had acted "in the best interest of PT, its employees and all its shareholders."

The joint Chief Executive and Chairman of Portugal Telecom resigned over the disasterous investment in Espírito Santo Group offshoot Rioforte where PT has lost up to €900 million.
