Environment Minister boosts Portugal's solar production capacity

João Matos Fernandes, Portugal’s environment minister has announced a solar production auction to take place in the summer when 1.75 GW of capacity will be up for grabs as part of the government’s energy transition programme.

Portugal's used car imports triple due to high new car prices

Man washed up at Meia Praia beach

wavesRoughDespite a general warning from the National Maritime Authority not to swim in the sea (HERE), a corpse was found by tourists on Monday, at Meia Praia, Lagos, reports Faro's District Relief Operations Command.

The alert was received at 3:27 pm. A medical emergency team, Lagos bombeiros, the Maritime Authority were soon at the scene but the victim had been in the water for around two days.
