Portugal's wine production drops 'due to the weather'

The International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) says that there was an overall growth of 19% in European wine production.

Half of Portugal's sewage sludge is 'unaccounted for'

sewageolhaoQuestioning the destination of Portugal’s sewage sludge, environmental group ZERO received the worrying confirmation from the Portuguese Environment Agency that half the country’s output is unaccounted for.

ZERO’s analysis of the date submitted by the Environment Agency led to the conclusion that, in the first half of 2018, about 50% of the sludge produced had not been sent to a legal destination.

Drone laws fail to stop dangerous incidents at Portugal's airports

In 2017, the Authority registered a total of 37 drone incidents resulting in 17 inquiries and nine cases that were passed on to the prosecution service.
