The mission of Rotary Club Estoi Palace (RCEPI) has always been to help in the local community and last year the first Charity Party raised over 5000 euros to help a local Estoi university student who was losing her sight due to a congenital eye condition, to complete her university studies and help with her medical treatment.
It´s that time of the year again to get out the dancing shoes, as NIGHTSHIFT are back in town for the APAA Dinner & Dance at O Caseiro in Arão on Saturday 10th November, at 7.30pm. All monies go to APAA.

The 3rd Obrigado, Bombeiros! fundraising event held on 22nd September was a massive success and raised €7,300 for the Bombeiros of Lagoa and Silves.
Around 200 people attended the event at Casa Algarve in Porches. A live auction attracted an amazing response and much generosity from event goers, who got to bid for a variety of goods and services donated by local businesses, including jewellery, artwork, fine wines and dining, boat trips, rounds of golf and stays at 5 star Algarve resorts. Kiss FM’s Sir Owen Gee used his many years of auctioneering experience to maximise the bids.
On Saturday, 29th September, the Florentinta Charity Fashion Show took place at Bijou Restaurant in Almancil. Nearly 100 people attended to watch our 10 glamourous models strut their stuff and showcase a selection of clothes available from Florentinta.
€2,000 was raised and will benefit two charities, Rotary Club Estoi Palace International and the Goldra Dog Sanctuary.

Maybe it´s because of the way we live here, or maybe it´s because I was, in another lifetime, a teacher, but September always seems like the beginning of a new year. Anyway, here we are in another September, and life and work go on at Goldra.
The Rotary Club Estoi Palace International’s (RCEPI) very successful 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament was a sell out and plenty of fun for all involved. Nearly 80 players signed up and enjoyed a perfect day on Portugal's number one golf course, Monte Rei Golf and Country Club. The players arrived to enjoy breakfast, driving range practice, stableford 18 holes of golf, lunch, and competition prizes.
