This past weekend Christ the King Anglican Church warmly invited everyone to roll up their sleeves and tap into their “creative” side as they got together to build their own unique Christmas Wreaths in time for the start of the season.

For the next AMIGOS de Música Concerts in December 2025, we are delighted to welcome for the first time, Dona Sévène, an acclaimed virtuoso pianist from France, laureate of prestigious international competitions and scholarships who is praised for her subtle, nuanced, deeply expressive playing.  

A new book by author Lena Strang, The Heart of Portugal – Portraits of the Algarve and Beyond, will be officially launched on Saturday, 29 November at 15:00, at the Fortaleza da Luz in Praia da Luz.

On Tuesday 2nd December, the Algarve Archaeological Association (AAA) will be presenting two lectures, in English, by Archaeologists Ricardo Soares and Ramiro Santos.
