Established only last month, the ‘Associação Cultural Re-Criativa República 14’ is based in the beautiful, low white 'Recreativa' building near the Church in Olhão’s Avenida da República and to celebrate the association's creation, a Christmas Market is being held over two weekends from the 8th of December.

Algarve tourism's Desidério Silva 'not bothered' about promoting '365 Algarve' winter activities

After investigating what was available in tourist information offices this summer, regarding the winter programme, this was the conclusion made by Cultugarve’s investigators.

World Record Bungy Jump at Albufeira Marina

World Record Bungy Jump at Albufeira MarinaJumper Carl Mosca Dionisio recently set a first world record of a bungy jump while driving a crane, from 40 metres and in 1 minute and 27 seconds!

Portuguese born, Kiwi trained, South African Bungy Jump Master Carl Mosca Dionisio achieved the jump at his jump site in Albufeira Marina. The jump site is one of only 5 Water Touch jump sites in the world, and the ONLY one in the world in a Marina.
