The 2014 World Youth Sailing ISAF officially came to an end on Friday. The 44th Edition ended with the Closing Ceremony, held in Friday in the city of Tavira was filled with athletes from 67 countries attending the event, but also many tourists and residents, delighted with a party full of joy and youth .
The World Youth Sailing ISAF is about to begin in Tavira, which runs between 12 and 19 July in Algarve waters. About 400 sailors from 69 countries will attend the event, a record number of participants, in the 44th edition of this event.
It is the 5th time Portugal has hosted the World Youth Sailing ISAF. After Troy (1973), Sines (1981), Vilamoura (1992) and Wood (2003), it is now the turn of Tavira to host one of the most prestigious events of the International Sailing Federation.

Neil Connolly, the Director of Coaching at the Cascade Performance Golf Academy, has qualified to play in the Madeira Open. The tournament is part of the European Tour, and is the second most famous tournament in Portugal. The tournament takes place in Madeira from the 8th to the 11th of May. The event will again form part of both The European and Challenge Tour Schedules, with the €100,000 first prize counting towards The Race to Dubai.
