Whilst on a warm weather training camp in Portugal, the Dutch football team Go Ahead Eagles played the Portuguese team, FC Farense at the Amendoeira Sports Club in the Algarve. The friendly football match, arranged by Gary Hobson (FIFA and UEAFA match agent), took place on Wednesday 7th January with a 10.30am kick off. The Dutch team played well but FC Farense emerged as the stronger team, deserving their 1:0 victory.
