The Algarve Knitting and Crochet Group which meets in Armação de Pêra has received a special international donation — 50 handmade scarves, all the way from Singapore.

Volunteers, charity workers, and community supporters gathered on Wednesday  at Kit & Caboodle,  Alcantarilha, for another uplifting meeting of the Portugal Charity Network, a grassroots initiative that brings together individuals and organisations involved in the charitable sector across the Algarve.

Algarve 41 Club continue their support of local Algarve charities that are dedicated to providing much needed services and assistance to local residents, with a donation of €500 to Algarve Emporium Charity.

On May 31st, the Rotary Club Estoi Palace International (RCEPI) and Rotary Club Olhão jointly organized the 8^th edition of the White Dinner (“Branco Ao Jantar”) at The Stables at Estoi Palace Pousada. 

We have exciting news to share with you. StreetLife and DPDSAA have a common view about the importance of sterilisation and we have now joined forces to tackle the never-ending problem of unwanted puppies and dogs in the East Algarve (Sotavento) area.

Animal Rescue Algarve (ARA) was founded in 2018, in the municipality of Loulé, with the aim of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs and cats in need.
